Awaiting Eyes Foundation (AEF) is an international development charity based in the United Kingdom. We provide access to education, accomodation, clothing and other assistance to orphaned children and widowed mothers in developing countries.
By virtue of the United Nations Conventions on the Rights of the Child, AEF aims to build an orphanage, education centre, hospital and a place of worship for children made homeless by the earthquakes and floods in Pakistan.
The 7.6 magnitude quake, which occured on 8th October 2005, left a death toll of more than 70,000 men, women and children, as well as destoring livestock and leaving devastating aftershock destroying schools and hundreds of homes.

In 2010 whole of pakistan was devestated by a flood. The AwaitingEyesFoundation then provided the people of Nowshera in Pakistan with Crockery to cook with , Blanket to keep warmand clothing for those who had none.

The AwaitingEyesFoundation provided the people of Nowshera with water pumps in order for them to access to clean water as the flood had destroyed the the hand pumps they already had.

In 2011 the AwaitingEyesFoundation started to support the Baidarie charity in Pakistan with money that we fundraise on a weekly basis. The Baidarie charity will then use the money for what they need the most , for example , the childrens school fees , clothing, school books nd the money we raise for then could also goes towards helping taking the children on school journeys. |
